FISHING REPORT 06-23-16

Jun 23, 2016

What a mix bag of weather today and a mixed bag of fish at the docks. The Offshore charters fished the rough waters today bringing in some nice stout Yellow Fin Tuna. They also caught 2 Citation Big Eye Tuna; the biggest was a whoppin' 175 pounds caught by Robert Davis and the next was a huge 118 pounder caught by Philip Chamberlain. Congratulations to those guys! The boats also reeled in some nice Gaffer Dolphin. We had a 36 pound Citation Dolphin caught by John Bullock. We also saw a good number of Wahoo brought into the docks this afternoon one was a Citation 46 pound Wahoo. Some Bonita and also Sailfish were caught today. All in all it was a good day of fishing. The Near Shore charters fishing was heavy today. They caught a huge number of Blues along with Spanish Mackerel and Albacore. The In Shore boats that fished today caught some nice Red Drum and Flounder. The Miss Oregon Inlet fished this morning and caught Croaker, Sea Bass, Gray Trout, Pig Fish and Puffers.
