FISHING REPORT 06-12-17

Jun 13, 2017

There is always a beautiful view from the office window for our captains, and this morning was no exception! The tuna frenzy started early again today with anglers landing some really nice ones, with a few making trophy citation weight. Congrats to J.D. Esh for his 73 pound haul, to Tate Hall for a 72.01 pound haul, and to Kevin Eller for a 76 pound chunker with a girth of 37"! But, the big catch by Richard Fox, weighing in at 112 pounds steals the show! Nice work. Anglers also brought in good numbers of mahi as well and also released some marlin. Congrats to Charles Abel and Kelly Esh on earning trophy citations today for white marlin releases! Super job!

Anglers Near-Shore also had interesting fishing today. Good catches of spanish macs, sea mullet, and some serious hunts for cobia were happening today. One young angler was having a blast pulling in over 25 pinfish on his ocean/sound adventure!

Anglers In-Shore pulled in some nice keeper flounder, drum, and speckled trout today. Some young anglers wanted to shark fish and enjoyed a few hook-ups, providing them with some exciting fishing today.

Miss Oregon Inlet Headboat anglers are enjoying a nice start to the week with some nice reel action this morning. Catches included flounder, sea bass, sea mullet, croaker, spot, perch, pinfish, and pufferfish. Tickets are available on the Miss Oregon Inlet and advance purchase is recommended. Purchase by phone 1-800-272- 5199 or online at www.missoregoninlet.com, or visit us at the Booking Desk to purchase in purchase.
