FISHING REPORT 06-09-17
An amazing day on the docks at the Oregon Inlet Fishing Center!! Some fantastic total weights for all of the boats today, with most pulling in at least 500 lbs of meat! Not too shabby, huh? Anglers had limits of yellow-fin tuna, good numbers of mahi with lots of gaffers, some mako, and some wahoo!
Anglers Near-Shore pulled in good numbers of spanish macs again today, with some really nice-sized ones going into the box! There were also some catches of sea mullet and a few cobia sightings. This cold front cooled the water temps a bit and cobia fishing has been slow, but as the water warms up, be watching for those catch reports.
Anglers In-Shore pulled in some good flounder, speckled trout and gray trout today. These anglers are anxiously awaiting the water to warm up as well.
Anglers aboard the Miss Oregon Inlet had a bit of slow fishing this morning, with the afternoon showing a little improvement in the bite. As the water warms up, we can hope to see more species on the report for the headboat as well. Tickets are available and may be purchased over the phone with a credit card 1-800-272-5199 or on the website www.missoregoninlet.com.
Whichever trip you choose, we can't wait to take you fishing!
