FISHING REPORT 06-06-16
Started out a little rough this morning but the day turned out to be a nice day for fishing out of Oregon Inlet Fishing Center. The Offshore charters are still bringing in numerous Gaffer Dolphin, which seems to be the major catch lately. Jacob Lindner of Virginia reeled in a big fat 36 pound Citation Gaffer Dolphin! Congratulations Jacob. We had a few of the charters bringing in some stout Yellow Fin Tuna also. Nicholas Post fought and won the battle with a nice White Marlin, which was released back into the sea. Our Near Shore and Inshore charters caught a great number of both Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish. The Miss Oregon Inlet sails twice a day on Tuesdays, from 7:00 to 11:30 and again from noon to 4:30. You can book a trip on the headboat at missoregoninlet.com. Plan a fishing trip that you will not soon forget! Give us a call at 1-800-272-5199 or book your trip on our website at oregon-inlet.com. Happy Fishing and let's hope the wind and rain pass through quickly!!
