FISHING FEATURE: SNEAKY

Jan 11, 2016

Join Sneaky Pete Cruger on the fishing vessel Sneaky for some exciting and memorable In Shore Fishing. Captain Pete will do all he can to create a stress-free and pleasing atmosphere for a day that you will not soon forget. Sneaky fishes in the intercoastal waters of North Carolina's Outer Banks as well as fishing the ocean waters. Captain Pete has fished the scenic waters of the Outer Banks all his life and has fished out of Oregon Inlet Fishing Center for the last 10 years. He has mated with some of the most renowned fishermen in the business and then took the helm of his own charter boat in 2015. While fishing with Captain Pete you can look forward to catching many species of fish including, but not limited to, Cobia, Red Drum, Puppy Drum, Flounder, Albacore, Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel and Blues. No matter your fishing experience, Captain Pete will be there to not only assist you but also to educate and instruct you in order to make your fishing excursion fruitful and relaxing. If you are an experienced angler, Captain Pete will strive to get you where the fish are and will enjoy the fishing experience along with you. The fishing vessel Sneaky is a 23 foot Sea Pro that is equipped to effortlessly fish the flats as well as the ocean. The boat is powered by a 150 horsepower Yamaha outboard, however, Captain Pete also uses a 101 pound thrust Mann Kota trolling motor to be especially "sneaky" when fishing in shallow waters. Sneaky has a "T Top" tower that not only provides shade on sunny days but is also used for sight fishing for Cobia and Red Drum. Derek Moyer fished with Captain Pete on Sneaky in July of 2015 and says, "Thanks for a great day on the water Captain Pete. Really enjoyed out there with ya and we're looking forward to seeing you again soon. You gave us excellent opportunities today and we really appreciated it! Take Care and good fishing...Derek." Also, Nate Buczek fished in July and says, "Great fishing trip with a great captain. Pete really goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great fishing experience." Captain Pete is an experienced fisherman and is knowledgeable when it comes to fishing not only the backwaters but also the ocean. You can book a half day trip or a full day trip on Sneaky by calling us at the Oregon Inlet Fishing Center at 1-800-272-5199. Captain Pete also has a website at sneakypeteobxfishing.com. You can also follow Captain Pete on Facebook. As Captain Pete says, "If you want to catch em' you gotta be Sneaky!"
