FISHING FEATURE: SINBAD
Sinbad is one of our Near Shore charter boats. You can book a trip on Sinbad for either a half day or a full day of fantastic fishing. Captain Will McPherson is a native of North Carolina and has fished the waters off of the Outer Banks for over 30 years. Captain Will has fished both Offshore and Near Shore and is very familiar with our coastal waters. Captain Will and his mate (and wife) Captain Viv both hold USCG captain's licenses. They have fished together since 1983. Sinbad is a family-based business and they welcome anglers of all ages and experience. The Sinbad is a 36 foot fishing vessel with 3 comfortable chairs in the cockpit. The boat is equipped with high-tech navigation and communication electronics. The cabin is built for comfort and relaxation and includes satellite radio. "Even after a successful fishing career spanning 40 years, I still feel the excitement of hearing the engine start up early in the morning. There is still that pull of anticipation of what we might catch that day as we ease out of the slip. Taking people fishing is as exciting for me today as yesterday. It's always different. It's always a bit new." Will McPherson. Jason Schiller says, "What an excellent boat and wonderful people! It was a pleasure to fish on Captain Will & Viv's boat today. They made us feel right at home in their boat. It was a wonderful experience for me and my family. We will most definitely be back! Can't wait to cook up some of the 51 fish we caught!!" And a review from Bob Spear states, "Didn't know what to expect when I booked the 1/2 day trip for late July, but am very happy I did. It turned out to be an exciting afternoon. After a slow start, Will and Viv worked hard to find us some big fish and we did! We landed several 24-27 inch mackerel and an albacore and 36 inch false albacore."
