FISHING FEATURE: RIGGED UP

Feb 10, 2016

There is no better rush that matches the exhilaration and accomplishment of landing a trophy fish while deep sea fishing off the Coast of North Carolina. To help you attain this feat is Captain Charles Haywood on Rigged Up. Rigged Up is part of the Oregon Inlet Fishing Center Offshore Fleet and Captain Charles knows where to find those trophy fish. Captain Charles has over 27 years of experience fishing the Outer Banks Gulfstream waters. He attained his United States Coast Guard Captain's license in 1998. Captain Charles was born and raised in Manteo, NC and he and his mate, Graham Alexander, will coach the beginner and assist the skilled angler in landing the big catch! It is top priority for Captain Charles and Graham to make the most of your fishing experience while on the Outer Banks. You will sail and fish in comfort aboard Rigged Up. She is a 55 foot classic Carolina Custom Built vessel, built by Omie Tillett. The lush cabin is outfitted with air conditioning and heat, a private bathroom and shower, microwave, television and stereo. Rigged Up is loaded with state-of-the-art navigation and communication electronics; including VHF radio, GPS, radar and color sounder. Top-notch gear is used aboard Rigged Up including Shimano Tiagra and TLD 20's- 130's and Shimano Light Tackle spinning gear. "Best of the best. These guys know their stuff and know how to find the fish. You are sure to have your best day offshore on Rigged Up," says David Sule. Also, Cody Barnes states, "Awesome day today, couldn't have asked for a better mate and captain. First Blue Marlin fish of a lifetime."
