Jan 20, 2016

Captain Sarah Gardner of the Fly Girl is a member of our In Shore Charter Fleet. Sarah is a lifelong angler who made the transition into fly fishing over 20 years ago. Whether you are a seasoned fly fisherman/woman, or a novice, Captain Sarah will assist you in all aspects of fly fishing and light tackle fishing in order to fight and land the fish you wish to catch. Sarah is a full-time charter captain who also finds time to write, photograph and teach and demonstrate at a variety of sportsman's shows throughout the United States. The Fly Girl is a 23 foot center console Jones Brothers Boat and is stocked with the finest tackle, including Sage Fly Rods, Cape Fear Spinning Rods, Tibor/Pate Fly Reels and Fin-Nor Spinning Reels. Captain Sarah Gardner is an Ambassador for Sage Fly Rods, Rio Products and is Patagonia Fly Fishing Ambassador. The Fly Girl and Captain Sarah will try to ensure that you experience the most relaxing and enjoyable fly and light tackle fishing excursion on the Outer Banks. Dave Cornue writes, "Two great days on the water with Sarah. Today and tomorrow we go out with Brian. He's got a tough act to follow! Thank you Sarah, and best fishes for the rest of the season!!" While fishing with Captain Sarah, some of the species you can expect to catch include Speckled Trout, Bluefish, Cobia, Striped Bass, Sharks, Drum and Flounder.
