FISHING FEATURE: CAST-AWAY

Jan 12, 2016

Outer Banks Inshore fishing is second-to-none. Cast-Away, skippered by Captain Dave Watkins is a first-class inshore charter boat in the Oregon Inlet Fishing Center fleet. The vessel is a striking 27 foot May Craft with a 250 horsepower Yamaha engine. The Cast-Away is equipped with some of the finest tackle for spinning, fly fishing, baitcasting, drifting and trolling. Light tackle is most often used for fishing inshore but at times larger tackle is used when aiming for fish such as the huge Red Drum. When fishing with Captain Dave you could expect to catch speckled trout, puppy drum, red drum, blues, sharks, cobia and flounder. Captain Dave Watkins has been fishing for over 56 years and has been fishing the beautiful and exciting Outer Banks waters for over 36 years. Dave also studied at Old Dominion University. Edward Jackson says, "Hi Dave, thanks again for putting me on my first cobia! Had a good time on the boat and will be back again." Let Captain Dave take you out for some exciting fishing on Cast-Away. Cast-Away is a family friendly charter and fishing the waters of the inner banks lets you enjoy calmer, yet exhilarating, waters. Booking a half day or a full day fishing trip on Cast-Away is just a phone call away. Give us a call at Oregon Inlet Fishing Center at 1-800-272- 5199. You can also check the availability of Captain Dave on-line at oregon-inlet.com and book your fishing excursion on-line. Also, look for Captain Dave Watkins on Facebook at Castaway Fishing Charters.
