FISHING FEATURE: BI-OP-SEA

Jan 4, 2016

Offshore fishing out of Oregon Inlet Fishing Center is some of the best in the world. Today we are featuring one of our Offshore Charters; Bi-Op- Sea captained by Jesse Granitzki. Captain Jesse has been involved in fishing all of his life, and began fishing as "work" at the age of 14. Jesse graduated from ECU in 1997 and holds a 100-ton Master's license. The mate on Bi-Op-Sea, Chris Stine also holds a 100-ton Master's license. As with all of our Offshore charters, Bi-Op-Sea can carry a maximum of 6 anglers. Bi-Op-Sea is a custom built 59 foot "Carolina"charter boat, specifically designed, engineered and constructed for the waters off the coast of North Carolina. The powerful Twin C-18A Cat engines provide a cruise speed of 27 knots for fast access to the Gulf Stream. Navigation and fish finding equipment on the Bi-Op-Sea is state-of the-art and the vessel is equipped with the most modern tackle available. Bi-Op-Sea underwent a complete re-fit of the interior salon in 2012 installing new cabinets, countertops, carpet and electronics. The indoor salon is comfortable with plenty of seating room, heating and air conditioning, a microwave, refrigerator and private head. The Bi-Op-Sea is also equipped with a 43" flat screen TV, Blue Ray DVD player, Dish Network Satellite TV and Stereo and I-Pod connectivity. The fishing success of Captain Jesse and Chris is well known. Brett Sause states: "Wow what a day. Captain Jesse did an excellent job putting the boat on the fish and Chris the mate was on his game all day long and worked his butt off." You can expect to catch Yellow Fin Tuna, Black Fin Tuna, Dolphin, Wahoo and other big meat fish that come into season while fishing with Captain Jesse on the Bi-Op-Sea. Also landing a nice billfish such as Marlin or Sailfish is also a great possibility. Captain Jesse's website is fishbiopsea.com. You can also find information about Bi-Op-Sea at www.oregon-inlet.com and on his Facebook page. Of course, it is easy to book a trip with Captain Jesse by calling us here at the booking desk at 1-800-272-5199.
