BETTER TU(NA)DAY

Oct 20, 2013

Saturday's report: Fishing around here seems to be getting gradually better and better, and its the truth. Yesterday we had a lot more Yellowfin come home! Some boats got hit by them harder than others but there were a lot more Tuna's being cleaned than yesterday. There were a pile of birds working the fish on top and some of our guys got hit pretty good! Most of the boats got to grab their dolphin and if they didn't get a limit they got some nicer gaffer sized fish, a Wahoo, or even a Billfish or two!! One boat had 2 Blue Marlin!! There were 4 Wahoos, and the total Billfish released were 4 Blue Marlin, 7 Sailfish and 1 White Marlin!

So with 23 wet spots on the dock, one of them included a sweet inshore pile of fish. Those guys landed a limit of Puppy Drum, some Gray Trout, a nice big Flounder and about 20 or more of those black and white striped Sheepshead! Nice job guys!!! It was a little rainy but we had just enough breaks in the clouds to grab all of the pictures we needed. We've got 4 Offshore, one AM, and 2 PM's out today, so if you are coming down to see us this afternoon go check 'em out! Hope you are having a great Sunday everyone!
