BACK IN ACTION!

Jul 2, 2013

There was an attempt of a mini report going up today but the boats came in one after the other sooner than expected. The first boats this AM were the Inshore guys who caught their selves some blues and macks (Spanish Mackerel and bluefish). A couple Nearshore boats had a great catch of Triggerfish, Spanish, and Bluefish while another had a 52 LB Cobia! Also there were a really great catch of Speckled Trout and Puppy Drum caught today and our Lady Captain told us the water wasn't looking right and a little messy but they were still gettin' 'em!!! You just never know! We had 14 huge fish caught today. The Bigeye Tuna's were caught on every other boat it seemed like. Record citation fish were 1 Blue Marlin, 2 Sailfish, a 223, 192, 160, 161, 133, 131, 121, and a 119 LB Bigeye (although that is only 8 weighed out of 11 brought in today) and last but definitely not least there was a Mako Shark caught by a cute little lady angler that was 121 pounds!!! She said it was everything she could do to just get that fish to the boat. They are pretty aggressive so we can only imagine. Today started out a little rough with some squalls around this morning holding the rain over us but as the day progressed the sun came out and had the people coming out of the woodworks and even the boats came in a little earlier today! The day seemed to get prettier and the fish caught were good looking fish. Can't wait to see what the rest of the week delivers us. Hope you guys got your trips booked there is limited availability now but if you can't make it offshore or inshore then don't forget about our Headboat that takes everyone out! 6 days a week and 2 trips a day you have your choice! Call us anytime between 4:30am and 7pm and get on board, and enjoy this holiday week! 1.800.272.5199 and get our updates on Twitter @FISHOIFC and the Facebook "Like" page to know exactly how its going down here!!
