A Citation is a Good Thing!!

Jun 3, 2018

These Saturday anglers aren't angry at all about getting a pink slip and sometimes, the numbers on the scale are more impressive than the numbers in the box! The scales were tipping heavy today, with weights on yellow-fin in the high double digits. Congrats to members of Autologic LLC for landing 2 yellow-fin weighing in at 74 lbs and 75 lbs, Pierce Bailey - 84 lbs, Darin Boyle - 91 lbs, William Carlton II - 82 lbs, Scott Harlacher - 86 lbs, John Hicks Jr - 84 lbs, John Hicks Sr - 82 lbs, Tim Jones - 89 lbs, Tory Robertson - 87 lbs, Robert Smith - 78 lbs, and Ryan Walter - 93 lbs! Great catches! There were a few big-eye that made the cut, as well. Congrats to Sudeep Das - 102 lbs, Sushil Das - 102 lbs, Dylan Pennypacker - 100 lbs, and Darroo Rodgers - 100 lbs! Great work!

But, the citations on the cobia today were nothing short of amazing!! Anglers In-Shore and Near-Shore pulled in some monsters today on light tackle and earned those trophy citations! Congrats to Tim Nichols - 71 lbs, Bud Pappas - 42 lbs, DaMarcus Scruggs - 61 lbs, Ron Smith - 53 lbs, and Thomas Wooten - 72 lbs! Awesome!!  Several anglers released cobia today, just shy of the required length. Anglers also enjoyed catches of spanish macs and bonita today as well.
