10/31/13

Oct 31, 2013

We had three boats make it out today with a change of pace in mind we went to the northeast to go looking around for tuna out of the gulf stream current. We also thought we would have more time before the weather got bad. The Skiligal and Tuna Fever fished out in the deep 700 to 1000 fathoms, along a tempature break 70 degrees to 75 degrees. Both boats caught some mahi around float & 6 yellowfin tuna per boat, 35 pounders, YES!!! The Pelican fished in 40 to 200 fathoms on a tip from commercial boats about white marlin cutting in bait, he caught 2 nice wahoo but no marlin from yesterdays report. We also had an inshore boat make it out today with a catch of puppy drum and false albacore. To book you charter go to www.oregon-inlet.com or give us a call a 1-800-272-5199.
