OIFC's First Tuna Catch of 2021
A couple of boats made it offshore yesterday and had a pretty return! Yellowfin tuna made a nice spread across the docks.

From Turkeys To Tunas
We had three boats worth of crews that were able to wake up out of their turkey comas to go offshore this morning! The docks were lined up with yellow and black fin tuna as well as some big eye tuna!

Windy For A While
Our offshore crowd did not make it out due to inclement wind, however a few of our nearshore and inshore did!
They came back with good red drum and false albacore!

The fishing season is winding down, and so are we! As of Monday, Nov. 2nd, 2020, the Oregon Inlet Fishing Center will be adjusting its hours, and we will be operating 8 AM to 6 PM. These new hours apply to the store, booking desk, and fuel docks. Note that this does not apply to fishing charters, they will leave at normal hours.
Pretty Day For Some Pretty Fishing
Our offshore guys got a mix of everything today! Yellow and black fin tuna, wahoo, mahi, and even a massive white marlin!
Nearshore crews are still in the spanish mackerel and bluefish.
And the inshore fleet got into the red drum and speckled trout.

Tuesday's C H U N K Y Tunas
GREAT October fishing today ya'll! On tonights menu we have yellow fin tuna, black fin tuna, wahoo and mahi mahi! We also had white marlin and blue marlin releases today, too! Nearshore folks fished for grey trout and false albacore. Inshore we're still seeing keeper speckled trout and puppy drum!

Meaty Monday
12 offshores made it out and had a decent day with the yellowfin (a couple citations) and blackfin! Nearshores had grey trout, puppy drum, and bluefish, and inshore charters had trout and drum!

Triumphant Trio
We had 3 crews go offshore, and it paid off! Plenty of tuna, both yellow and black fin tuna, as well as mahi mahi, and a released white marlin.
Nearshore boats stayed sound side with the conditions of the inlet, but came back with good catches of sea mullet.
And our inshore crowd still had good speckled trout and red drum fishing.

Another Day Another Tuna
Our offshore guys made out good today with catches of yellow and black fin tuna, wahoo, white marlin and sailfish!
Nearshore stayed put today at the docks today except for one. He and the inshore crowd brought back a mix of speckled trout and red drum.

Misty Monday
We had 3 offshores take a beating, and they did alright! Blackfin, yellowfin, and a 45-lb wahoo came to the docks. Inshore and nearshore fellas had limits of drum and trout, as well as some bluefish.

Fun Before the Front
Offshores came in with yellowfin, blackfin, and wahoo, as well as white marlin and sailfish citations! Nearshores had a good day with spanish mackerel, bluefish, and ribbonfish. Inshores has limits of trout, as well as red drum and bluefish.
A front has pushed through, and the weather went from 70's and sunny to low 60's and clouds/rain within an hour. This front is making for some nasty fishing conditions, so nobody will be fishing tomorrow and possibly Sunday. Oregon Inlet Fishing Center will not be opening until 8AM Saturday, October 17th.
Killer Kings
Choppy but decent fishing! Yellowfin, blackfin, wahoo, mahi, and king mackerel were in the boxes today! Nearshores had a slower day with the spanish mackerel, and inshores had a slower day with speckled trout and drum.
