We had a huge day here at Oregon Inlet Fishing Center. There were 25 offshore boats that set out this morning, and they returned with catches of wahoo, yellowfin tuna, blackfin tuna and limits of dolphin.
Nearshore boats pulled in king mackerel and speckled trout, while inshore boats had limits of speckled trout and puppy drum.
Our boats will not be fishing tomorrow, as we have a tropical disturbance on its way to pay us a visit.

Our offshore boats were finally able to make it out today, after all the inclement weather we have been experiencing! The boats returned with great catches of citation wahoo, limits of dolphin, blackfin tuna and a few yellowfin tuna.
Nearshore boats had luck with striped bass, and inshore boats brought in speckled trout.
We have room on Miss Oregon Inlet for tomorrow, which sails at 8:00 am. If you are interested you can book on line at missoregoninlet.com, or come to the fishing center around 7:00 am to purchase your tickets.
Good fishing for our crews today! Miss Oregon Inlet headboat had a nice variety of spot, sea mullet, grey trout, pig fish, pin fish, sea robin, and black sea bass. Our in-shore fleet are still catching limits of speckled trout, and some bluefish. Near-shore crews brought back nice amounts of spanish mackerel, and bluefish as well. And lastly, the off-shore guys brought back good sized mahi, tuna, and a few wahoo.

The winds tried to keep us in again today, but not all of us!

Mother Nature has been rough on us, with this week has been a big let down for everyone trying to get out on the water, but Sunday is looking like the golden day! 17 offshores got out and came in with tons of yellowfin tuna, blackfin tuna, limits of mahi all around, king mackerel, wahoo, blue marlin, white marlin, and sailfish! Nearshores had a good day with the spanish mackerel, and inshores had speckled trout, puppy drum, and bluefish!

3 offshores made it out and came back in with limits of mahi, some yellowfin tuna, and a sailfish! Nearshores went out came in with good speckled trout, and 3 inshores came in with more specks, bluefish, and said theres some good red drum action! Blackfin, yellowfin, amberjack, mahi, king mackerel, wahoo, and sailfish and marlin citations! 5 nearshores came in with spanish mackerel, false albacore, bluefish, and triggerfish! 3 inshores had a great day with the speckled trout, bluefish, and puppy drum!

The weather is overcast but still beautiful today as 12 of our offshore guys brought back a bunch of goodies! Limits of mahi mahi, many-a blue marlin citations, tons of blackfin, and some big eyes are popping up! 6 nearshore guys came in with great spanish mackerel action, bluefish, albacore, some speckled trout, and a keeper red drum! 4 inshores came in with speckled trout, bluefish, and puppy drum!

12 offshore charters made it out today and it was a beautiful day of fishing! Limits of mahi, tons of blackfin tuna, and many wahoo! A 130 lb. swordfish was also brought to our docks! Nearshores brought in bluefish, spanish mackerel, and some speckled trout! Inshores did great with the speckled trout and brought in some more bluefish!
