Today at Oregon Inlet, several of our off shore boats went out catching yellowfin tuna and large blue fish, and a large amount of seabass releases. We also have several boats going out tomorrow and we are looking forward to their catch. Stay tuned for more great fishing at Oregon-Inlet.
At Oregon-inlet today we had 4 boats to go off shore. They brought in 28 yellowfin tuna, 25 tile fish, 1 29lb. wahoo, 20 dolphin and 1 blackfin tuna. We have a couple of in-shore bookings for this week so we will see what they will bring in. All in all a decent day of yellowfin.
Today was a beautiful day for fishing here on the Outer Banks. After two weeks of cold, stormy weather we had a warm, sunny day with two foot seas. Seventeen offshore boats left the marina this morning and they returned this afternoon with ample catches of yellowfin tuna, blackfin tuna, dolphin and tile fish. One of the blackfin tuna weighed in at twenty-six pounds.
Today we had thirteen boats go fishing offshore they returned with quite a variety of fish. There were yellowfin tuna, blackfin tuna, dolphin, wahoo, king mackerel, albacore and tile fish. One of our boats had a rather unique grand slam. A baby sparrow landed on the boat, they pulled in a medium size sea turtle and a baby mako shark. The turtle and shark went back to their home in the sea and the sparrow wouldn't leave so he came back to shore in the man's pocket, warm and well fed with pieces of granola. Our one nearshore boat had good catches of bluefish.
