So, We have had some windy days down here at the Oregon Inlet. Our Offshore Captains were able to catch a little Wahoo, Black Fin and Yellow Fin Tuna, and Mahi. We had a Sailfish release also. One of our Inshore Captains caught a few Stripers and Speckled Trout.
Roy Hammock of Franklin, VA, caught and released a Sailfish.
Today was a little rough and choppy offshore. I think we are in for a rough couple of days here at the Oregon Inlet. The rain and wind combination is making it tough to fish. Our Offshore Captains had good numbers of Black Fin and Yellow Fin Tuna. They also caught Maui. Our Inshore Captains caught alot of Speckled Trout.
George Hall of Woodbridge, VA, caught a 55 lb. Wahoo.
What a gorgeous day at the Oregon Inlet! Hopefully you had an opportunity to enjoy the fresh air. Today Offshore had great Yellow Fin Tuna including a citation size. Also, Black Fin Tuna was abundant. Nearshore captains had great numbers of Blues. Inshore captains had great Speckled Trout and Blues as well.
Rick Holt of Myrtle Beach, SC, caught a 70 lbs. Yellow Fin Tuna.
No one ventured out off-shore today! The seas are high and the wind is GNARLY!
There were some hearty anglers latching onto some very nice striped bass today one of our In-Shore boats. Enjoy some tasty meals, guys!! These anglers earned trophy citations for red drum releases. Congrats to Jaden Knisley and Ty Ross for releasing a pair of 48" red drum. Nice work!
We're looking for some nice weather mid-week and we're hopeful to assemble a couple of make-up charters. Visit our homepage or the booking desk to sign up!
