Fishing seems to be getting better! Offshores came in with blackfin, yellowfin, limits of tilefish, golden and blueline! The also had a few scattered mahi, and a few billfish releases (blue marlin and sails).
Nearshores had good catches with false albacore and spanish, and inshores had an awesome day with monster red drum and good trout fishing!
Fishing seems to be getting a bit better this week! Offshores brought in blackfin, yellowfin, some mahi, scattered wahoo, black sea bass, and limits of tiles -- they also had lots of billfish flags up today! Nearshores brought in spanish mackerel and false albies, and inshores brought in drum, speckled trout, and more spanish mackerel!
Lots of white marlin releases today as well as a few blue marlin and sailfish releases. Some tuna are still lingering and bailer dolphin are showing up nice. Limits of tilefish could be found on a majority of our offshore boats.
Nearshore brought in plenty of spanish mackerel and false albacore.
And inshore still getting plenty of speckeled trout and drum.

Inshores reported great speckled trout fishing and red drum as well. Neashores reported a slower day with mostly spanish mackerel and a few false albacore in the mix. Offshores had a another great day with the mahi, as many boats brought in limits. They also brought in yellowfin, blackfin, limits of tilefish as well as a few marlin and sailfish citations!

Today was a good day for inshores, catching false albacore, red drum, and speckled trout! Nearshores did well with spanish mackerel and nice sized red drum!
Offshores caught yellowfin and blackfin tuna, mahi-mahi, tilefish, black sea bass, with citations for white marlin and sailfish!

Our nearshore fleet had a great morning followed by a great afternoon! The spread they put across the docks included ribbonfish, bluefish, spanish mackerel and some stories of catch and release cobia!

Happy July! Today, OIFC's docks saw a good catch of yellowfin tuna, as well as limits of tilefish! Nearshores had spanish mackerel and bluefish, and inshores caught puppy drum, red drum, speckled trout, and some more bluefish!

Offshore fellas killed the yellow fin tuna once again today. Black fin tuna, a 121 lb big eye, wahoo, dolphin and tiles also made appearances on the dock this afternoon. Nearshore still has plenty of ribbon fish around along with Spanish mackerel, amber jack, tiles, grouper and drum in the mix. Inshore boats are steady reeling in limits of speckled trout, puppy drum and bluefish.
Congratulations to Captain Fin Gaddy of the Qualifier. Him, his mates and twin sons were all smiles after winning second place in the Hatteras Marlin Club Tournament. Fin's son Charles also won Jr angler! Great job ya'll.
