When Captain David Daniels tells you he started from the bottom and worked his way up, he's not kidding. In the early days of his career, he began as a free-lance mate and when he wasn't on the water, you could find Captain David in a shop underneath a boat, doing painting and whatever was needed to keep a vessel in top notch shape. Captain David has mated for some of the top captains in the Outer Banks, learning the charter fishing business from all angles. He eventually purchased his own boat, which he operates today and has another one of the hardest-working mates in the business, Jake Worthington.
A Word from the Captain: "I have been hooked on fishing from an early age instilled by my father, and not many things make me happier now than helping fathers and mothers pass the love for fishing to their children. I have 25 years of experience starting as a mate and working my way up to Captain and owner of the Seaducer. I could tell you about all the fish I have caught and all my experience, but that would kind of useless since yesterday’s fish can’t be caught today. Let’s go catch some fish and make some stories!
P.S. My mate, the assistant coach, believes bananas are bad luck..... so be a team member and leave the bananas at home.
