Captain Gregg Middleton is a local favorite here on the Outer Banks. He has skillfully navigated the waters off our coast and taken anglers on world class sportfishing trips. He started fishing the Chesapeake Bay as a boy, and soon moved on to the ocean waters off Virginia and N.C. as a teenager. His love of fishing has led him to Mate or Captain boats from O.C. Maryland to Florida, and countries such as Bermuda, Bahamas, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, and Mexico. But, there's nowhere he'd rather be fishing than off the Outer Banks of N.C. He lives in Manteo with his wife Pat. They have three sons, three daughters-in-law, and four grandchildren. In his down-time, he likes to fish for trout and puppy drum, paddle board, and clam. In the winter months, he guides duck hunts for Eastern Outer Banks Guide Service. Capt. Gregg is known for providing a relaxed, low-key, and fun atmosphere. His strong desire to catch as many fish as possible each day drives him in competition with himself, which usually leads to a fun and productive day for his anglers.
