The Gal-O-Mine is a 47 foot custom-built sportfisher by Hudson. She is equipped with high-tech navigational equipment and radar. The cabin is equipped with a microwave and other amenities. The Gal-O-Mine will provide you with a relaxing and comfortable outing and the skills that Captain Benji and his first mate possess will assure you a good day of fishing. The Captain
If you are looking for a fun, exciting, and successful fishing voyage, look no further than Gal-O-Mine and Captain Benji York. Gal-O-Mine is part of our Near Shore Charter Fleet and you are able to fish either a half day or a full day with Captain Benji. Captain Benji started his fishing career at the young age of 16 and has been fishing the waters of the Outer Banks for over 50 years. Captain Benji has lived in and around the Outer Banks all of his life and has the knowledge and expertise to put you on the fish. He began his career as a mate and after obtaining his Captain's license, Captain Benji started as an Off Shore Captain. After fishing Off Shore for many years, Captain Benji moved to our Near Shore Fleet on Gal-O-Mine. Captain Benji and his mate (and son's) Trent or Travis will do everything possible to make your fishing trip an exhilarating and memorable experience. While fishing Near Shore on Gal-O-Mine you can anticipate catching Blue Fish, Spanish Mackerel, Tile Fish, Sea Bass, Cobia and Grouper, among other species.
