FISHING REPORT 6-5-12

Jun 6, 2012

It was a beautiful day at Oregon Inlet. Inshore charters had a great day catching speckled trout with weights from 2 to 4 lbs. Nearshore charters had some good catches of bluefish and spanish mackerel. There were some flounder caught on Miss Oregon Inlet as well as on the inshore charters. Offshore charters came back with a mixture of yellowfin tuna, dolphin and wahoo. One boat had a bigeye tuna weighing in at 187 lbs. Great catch for Alex Cox of Centreville, Md. There were several billfish releases as well. White Marlin releases by Scott Schermerhorn, Brad Gettinger and Sam Blair. Blue Marlin release by Ronald Rowles. Great job guys! We had a photo sent in by Steve Johnson, which we've added to this report.
