FISHING REPORT 09-16-17
Can we squeeze in one more day? Yes! We did! There were some full fish boxes today and lots of happy anglers! The Ocean City Light Tackle Club wrapped up their Outer Banks Tournament on Friday and spent Saturday fun-fishing! Anglers brought in limits of mahi, good numbers of yellow-fin, black-fin, and big-eye tuna. There was also a mako shark and more than a dozen billfish releases!
Near-Shore anglers pulled in good numbers of spanish macs, a few bluefish, puppy drum, and released some red drum, as well.
Anglers In-Shore enjoyed limits of speckled trout and puppy drum. There were also some red drum and striper releases.
Anglers aboard the Miss Oregon Inlet had some good reel action this morning, pulling in good numbers of flounder with some nice sized keepers, grey trout, sea mullet, sea bass, croaker, spot, pigs, pins, sea robin, and puffers. Tickets are available and advanced purchase is recommended.
