Another outstanding day fishing at the Gulf Stream. Lots of good size yellowfin tunas. At the weigh in the tunas averaged over 40 pounds a peice. There were also some very nice dolphin catches. Most of the dolphin were in the gaffer size category. Inshore boats had very good catches of spanish mackerel and tailor bluefish. Good catches of bluefish and speckled trout were made by open boats in the sound. There are bluefish running around three pounds found at particular locations in the sound otherwise thewy run around a pound and a half. Richard Wong from Kensington, Md. got a citation for the 54 pound cobia he caught. Michael McCluskey got a citaion for his cobia that weighed 70 pounds. This is an impressive fish it was 56 inches in length and 31 inches in girth. The fishing right now is hard to beat at any time anywhere.
