Several boats ventured out today and had some pretty good pre-storm fishing! Most boats were back in a bit earlier than usual, but all of the boats had a good haul out of the fish boxes. Anglers pulled in some nice yellow-fins and black-fins and a few dolphin.
Near-Shore anglers had good bluefish and spanish mackerel fishing this morning and this afternoon.
In-Shore anglers enjoyed good catches of spanish mackerel, flounder, and some striped bass.

We had another beautiful day weather-wise and another terrific day of fishing from Oregon Inlet. We had quite a few Offshore charters that fished and they are still loading the docks with limits of Yellow Fin Tuna. They are also bringing in Black Fin Tuna and a few Mahi Mahi. Some billfish are still being landed but they seem to be fading out for the season. The Near Shore boats had a fantastic day. They reeled in a good number of Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Trout and Croakers. The In Shore charters also had great luck today. They caught Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Trout, Puppy Drum and several delicious keeper Founder. Congratulations to Roger Weekly on his great catches of Red Drum release, White Marlin and Spearfish releases. The Striper season has just opened up so we hope to soon be seeing some nice Stripers brought to the docks. The Miss Oregon Inlet will definitely be making a trip tomorrow. Another incredible day of fishing out of Oregon Inlet Fishing Center. Most of the Offshore charters brought in limits of nice-sized Yellow Fin Tuna. They were also catching Black Fin Tuna and we saw several boats with a good number of Dolphin. The Near Shore and In Shore boats had a slow day today. They are catching Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish Near Shore and the In Shore boats are catching Flounder and Speckled Trout in the Sound. Striper Season started yesterday so we should start seeing some Stripers brought into the docks soon. The Miss Oregon Inlet will leave the docks for an exciting day of fishing tomorrow morning at 8:00 sharp. We had 20 off shore boats fishing today. They brought back to the docks limits of yellowfin, some blackfin tuna and scattered dolphin. We also had 5 sail fish releases. Our near shore boats had great Spanish mackerel and bluefish. Our in shore boats had Spanish mackerel, blues and stripers. Great catch to all our anglers.

There's never a dull moment around the inlet and today is no exception! Anglers off-shore had another good day of tuna and mahi catches, returning to the docks with quite a haul. Multiple boats brought in limits of yellow-fin, good numbers of black-fin, and limits of mahi mahi.
Near-Shore anglers enjoyed catches of grey trout, spanish macs, blues and sea mullet while fishing around in the channels today.
In-Shore anglers pulled in nice grey & speckled trout, flounder, blues, and red drum. There were also some catch and release sound stripers. Anglers are eagerly awaiting the opening of striper season tomorrow.

Have we got some "big" news for you!! Off- shore anglers pulled in some amazing big-eye tunas today!! Congrats to Wyatt Williams for bringing in a 174 pound catch, measuring in at 68" in length, Richard Lubold for landing his 215 pound catch measuring in at 68" in length, and to Joseph Bartell for muscling in his 229 pound chunker measuring 71" in length! Nice work fellas! Anglers also pulled in limits of mahi mahi and a few yellow-fin and black-fin made it to the docks. Congrats to David Ellis and Jared Ducote for white marlin releases and to Eric Bjorklvno for his sailfish release. Super!!

WOW!! Boxes started filling up early today!! Anglers off-shore were up and reelin' before 9 a.m., pulling in limits of mahi mahi, yellow-fin tuna and black-fin tuna, as well as some very nice wahoo. Wow!! The Offshore charters rocked today! The charters brought in limits of big ol' fat Yellow Fin Tuna. They also had limits of Dolphin and some scattered Black Fin Tuna. Congratulations to Stuart Hale who reeled in a 71 pound Citation Yellow Fin Tuna. Congratulations also go out to Nancy Harmon (who fished on a Make-Up trip) and caught a Citation Wahoo weighing in at 41 pounds! We had several Marlins caught and released also. Congratulations to Bill Sabo who caught a 400 pound Blue Marlin and to Chris Vice who also reeled in a nice Blue Marlin. Ben Dundee and Samuel Dulin fought and won the battle with White Marlin also. The Near Shore charter boats are catching a good number of Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish. They also had some nice Albacore catches. The In Shore parties that fished today also had a fantastic day. The winds were a bit high this morning so most of our charters cancelled for the day. We did have 3 brave groups that sailed to the Gulf Stream however. The fishing was great for those parties. The charters brought back limits of Yellow Fin Tuna. They also caught quite a few Black Fin Tuna and scattered Dolphin. None of our Near Shore or Inshore charters sailed today. A beautiful day of fishing at the inlet today. We first want to congratulate Steve Anderson for catching a 46" red drum on a trout rod. It was very exciting and challenging. The in-shore boats also caught limits of speckled trout along with some Spanish mackerel and blue fish. Our near shore boats caught nice Spanish mackerel and blue fish. Our off shore boats had scattered marlin releases, limits of yellowfin, dolphin, some blackfin and wahoo. We did have a grand slam as well.
