Lil bit of color comin' out of the boxes today and some nice lookin' flags flying! Anglers in the off-shore yielded to the captain's expertise and found some mahi today along with some marlin and sails! Almost a grand slam on one boat as well! Anglers also pulled in yellow-fins, black-fins, and some wahoo today. Congrats to a member of a Make-Up Charter, Tammy Gentile for her white marlin release, to Chris Long for a white marlin release, Matt Gravatt for a blue marlin release, Amanda Miller for here blue marlin release, and to 10-year old Tyler Schumaker for his blue marlin release! Nice work! Congrats to Quinton Fisher for a nice 50 lb wahoo and to David Sobata, Sr for his 159 lb big-eye tuna, and to Chris Sampler for his 159 lb big-eye! Amazing work!!
Anglers in the Near-Shore were enjoying some great fishing today, pulling in good numbers of bluefish, spanish, and some monster red drum! Day 2 of wind and high seas kept most of our boats in the marina, with the exception of the Miss Oregon Inlet. Anglers on the morning trip enjoyed catches of flounder, sea mullet, croakers, spot, pinfish, pigfish, and black sea bass. Our very special anglers from the Dare County Special Olympics enjoyed a great afternoon aboard the Miss Oregon Inlet and had some busy reels going the entire trip! We're glad to host these amazing anglers!!

The captains were glad to see the blue water return today and were definitely in the meat! Anglers were back in the early afternoon with limits of yellow-fin, some excellent big-eye tuna, good numbers of black-fin, and some great weights on wahoo! Congrats to Armando Garcia - 47 lb wahoo, Nick Kimbrell - 71 lb wahoo, and Sara Trageser - 62 lb wahoo! Super work! Congrats to members of one of our Make-Up Charters for landing those excellent big-eyes, Ronnie Liguzinski and Gary Skarl - 142 lb and to Marc Morrison - 187 lb beast! Great job! An angler from another Make-Up Charter wrangled a sailfish to earn herself a trophy citation: Congrats to Patricia Baugher for her big day and big catch! I'm sure the men will always remember you had the most yellow's as well! Congrats to some great billfish anglers, earning more trophy citations for release of white marlins: Ian Butler, Matthew Brice, Lee Chapman, Jonathan Lajoie, Chase Lane, Taylor Lane, and Brian Sanderson! Congrats to Ian Anspach - 46.3", Peter Anspach - 47.9", Lydia Montanino - 48.2", Tyler Montanino - 46.4", and Peter Montanino - 46.1". Nice work! Anglers also pulled in good numbers of spanish macs and excellent numbers of bluefish!

Beautiful weather and lite breezes! Anglers enjoyed some beautiful water, too, with some nice catches. The billfish action is picking up a little and we're seeing some trophy citations earned this week. Congrats to Lauren Evans for pulling in her 46 lb chunker and to Shayne Sibley for pulling in a 63 lb beast! Awesome suppers tonight! Congrats to James Smith for weighing in a 141 lb big-eye tuna! Congrats to Tim Hoerning for a blue marlin release, Porter Williams for a white marlin release, and Richard Gambler and Robert Williams for rounding out the slam with their sailfish releases! Porter Williams had a good start toward a 2nd slam with his sailfish release! Super work! You never know what might be lurking around when you're looking for tuna and such. Congrats to Louis Petzing on earning a trophy citation for an 11.02 lb tilefish and to Andrew Uhrik for his 10.04 lb tilefish and an 80 lb yellow-fin tuna! Congrats to William Delfera for his 10.02 lb tilefish, and to James Somers for his 10.04 lb tilefish. Congrats to Jessica Delaney and Mark Prohoniak for sailfish releases! Other anglers pulled in nice yellow- fin, black-fin, wahoo, and a few mahi today.
Anglers near shore were earning trophy citations as well. Congrats to Michael Storie for his 33.1" cobia released. There were also some red drum releases again today, with several over 48" length. Anglers also enjoyed excellent spanish mac and king mac catches today.

WAHOOOOO & What a BIG-EYE!! Congrats to the Bean crew fishing with us today! Trevor pulled in a 43 lb wahoo and earned himself a trophy citation and Michael Flanagan hauled in a 234 lb big-eye tuna, while Ajay Colby released a sailfish! That was one busy boat! Another busy boat was well on their way to a grand slam with a white marlin release and 2 sailfish releases by Landon Honeycutt! Awesome!
