There's not much to report on the fishing front today. We did have three offshore boats scheduled to go fishing, however north to northwest winds blowing 20 knots, and high seas, put a stop to that.
We did have an inshore boat go out for a morning trip and they had nice red drum.
This will be a dual report covering yesterday, 12/1/16, and today, as we were having computer issues yesterday.
Thursday we only had one boat out fishing offshore. The seas were a little rough, but they did return with some yellowfin tuna.
Today, again, we only have one boat offshore and they enjoyed good weather and had good catches of blackfin tuna.
Tomorrow looks to be a fair weather day and we have three boats scheduled to go offshore.
There wasn't a great deal of action going on today due to winds and high seas. We're very much hopeful for a good fishing report later on in the week. Give us a call and let us get you booked for your next great adventure 1-800-272-5199.
The Marina Store is open Monday through Saturday from 8am-5pm. Stop in and let's chat about your next fishing trip.
Windy days and Mondays seem to be pretty much the standard for November. One In-Shore boat fished today and had a great day of fishing, pulling in limits of sea bass with some citation size beauties and some amazing ocean flounder! Another private In-Shore boat fished today and found the bite slow. We do hope to have some fishing reports this week; stay tuned..........

We had many a happy angler today when the boats returned to the marina, after their day of fishing.
All the boats had great catches of yellowfin tuna, some catching limits. There was also blackfin tuna in the mix, along with two Big Eye Tuna.
Matthew Wilson of Chesapeake brought in a 168 lb. big eye and Eric Potter, also of Chesapeake, brought in a 138 lb. big eye.
Our inshore boats had catches of striped bass, trout, black drum, puppy drum and bluefish.
LOOK!! It's an actual fishing report! Anglers enjoyed a really good day of fishing In-Shore, Near-Shore, and Off-Shore today. Anglers Off-Shore, including those on 2 Make-Up Charters, brought in limits of yellow-fin tuna, with a few black-fin, and a wahoo.
Anglers In-Shore enjoyed very good striper fishing, bringing some nice keepers back to the dock.

It certainly wasn't the worst weather we've seen this year, but it was still pretty windy. Oh, that's right, it is fall here on the Outer Banks and we've seen our first little cold snap today. It was bound to happen eventually, right?
With winds and swell in the double digits off-shore, our captains and anglers chose to stay on land today. We hope to see some improvement in a couple of days. We are working on a make-up charter, maybe two, for mid-week. Log on to our homepage and submit your request.

Our anglers enjoyed beautiful, mild weather today for their day of fishing.
We only had offshore boats out today, and they just returned back with their catches. There was a lot of yellowfin tuna today, some boats had their limits. We also had a citation wahoo weighing in at 52 lbs., blackfin tuna and sailfish releases.
Today was a beautiful Fall day for fishing, offshore or inshore.
We had six offshore boats leave the marina this morning and they certainly returned with a mixed bag catch! There were blackfin tuna, dolphin, wahoo and king mackeral. There was also sailfish, blue marlin and a shark released.
One of the sailfish was released by Mr. Jeff Robinson of Carmel, Indiana, who received a citation for his catch.
We also had an inshore catch of striped bass, bluefish and a shark. This was a special trip for Mr.& Mrs. Graf, who were celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary. Congratulations to the happy couple!
Well, it is fishing, right? Off-Shore anglers brought some nice black-fin tuna back to the docks. Anglers also had catches of some very small yellow-fins, which were released.
