Dream Girl is owned by and also built by Captain Billy Baum. The Dream Girl is a 57 foot Custom Carolina with two high powered C-12 caterpillar engines. The fishing vessel cruises at a smooth 25 knot. Dream Girl is the only boat in the Oregon Inlet Fishing Fleet with a custom Tuna Tower and the boat is rigged with complete navigational, communication and electronic equipment to aid in putting you on the fish. The cabin is spacious and comfortably air conditioned for your relaxation while sailing to the Gulf Stream and back home to Oregon Inlet Fishing Center. The cockpit of Dream Girl has three fighting chairs all rigged with safety straps. The boat is fully stocked with rods and reels from spinning tackle, standup, TLD's, bailing rods and down riggers. The gear will accommodate you for casting, chunking, trolling, deep water, spreader bars and dangler baits with kites.

Captain Billy Baum retired in 2000. In 2004 the present Captain, Captain Jason Snead, took over the helm of Dream Girl. Captain Jason Snead is a lifetime fisherman. He began as a mate and later acquired his Captain's license. Captain Jason has captained commercial and private charter boats up and down the East Coast.
